They say that the internet won’t matter when we’re older, no one will care that I got 100 likes on that status that I was damn proud of, who cares how many notes that thing you tumbld got you had your instant of fame and now you’re done, gone, washed up.
But the truth is, everyone cares. If they didn’t, they wouldn’t associate their names with it. If they didn’t care, then they wouldn’t let everyone know they supported my going out for dinner that night.
I need the coolest picture on Instagram, I need the trending Tweet, and I need more notes on this post.
Because in 1,000 years, if the internet still exists and we don’t just transmit information to each other telepathically, then the only way they’ll know who the coolest was, is by looking through our pages.
They’ll know that I was better than you. My children’s grand-children’s grand-children. will look back on me, overjoyed that their ancestor was better than you, because you only ever supported me and never went out on a limb yourself.
Those without a Facebook, will be forgotten. They can’t have had anything good to say, they didn’t put themselves out there and say it. These are solid numbers, statistically proving how great I am because I quotes John Green when graduating High School.
The future will read our Facebook pages, our Tumblogs, our Twitters, and see our Instagram pictures. And they will know that I was better than you, because numbers don’t lie.
I want to be more than just a small fly
I want to make something somehow of life
Not just to be born, to fuck, and then to die
I want to get above and out of strife
Not just to be born, to fuck and then to die
But who cares if my memories survive?
Will it matter if I make a vaccine?
Who will care if Mitcham had the best dive?
All our fruition won’t come to a thing
And soon Sol itself will not be alive
But I yearn for more than just to be here
And to be remembered through the new year.

Sorry I'm a bit late, but here are my thoughts on the next round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs!
The Penguins had some trouble taking down the eighth seeded Islanders whereas the Senators easily eliminated the Canadiens. I think the Senators will take this series in 7, if they adopt the style of play the Islanders used to get to game six against the top seeded team in the East.
Both of these teams are coming off of game seven victories, but the Rangers won much more convincingly than the Bruins did. Boston was given a generous gift by the Maple Leaves goalie who fell over himself to advance Boston to round two. I think the Rangers keep playing as well as they did to blank the Caps and take this series in 5.
The Hawks are coming off a long break that could leave them rusty but I assume that they'll be ready to go, Detroit is a frightening team to face after the confidence booster of taking down the Ducks in back to back game 6 and 7 wins.
It might be a bias talking but I think Hawks in 6 maybe even 5.
This will be a true goalie duel, this series can go any way in my eyes, a sweep one way or the other, or a game 7 thriller.
I have no idea what to predict in this series so I'll go San Jose in 6 or 7 because, honestly, I'm sick of the overconfidence, trolling, and ignorance that I've seen from some Kings fans.
Cutting to the chase I am doing a project for my art class that requires me to do a piece that is 60ftx1ft long.
60 feet is a HUGE size.
Long story short, I need your URLs, and if you reblog/like this post I will write your URL down on my piece.
I NEED 60 FEET OF URLS AND I HAVE SMALL HANDWRITING. PLEASE REBLOG FOR ONE REASON, AND ONE REASON ONLY:
I wanna see the finished piece
Reblogging to be in some art, yo.
There will be rest, and sure stars shining
Over the roof-tops crowned with snow,
A reign of rest, serene forgetting,
The music of stillness, holy and low.
I will make this world of my devising
Out of a dream in my lonely mind
I shall find the crystal of peace, -above me
Stars I shall find
I pledge allegiance to the Hawks, and the National Hockey League
And to the nations, for which they stand
One goal, under Q
With poke-checks and wrist shots for all.
